I think, in pub venues, it is increasingly difficult to get good shots on many levels; the lighting is terrible, there are often many visual distractions, and the size of places often leaves you forming awkward positions in order to get the shot and not interrupt the audience too much.

That said, I feel like I am becoming more confident, using candles, tables and audience members in order to create shots that are a little bit different in places (obviously sometimes the bog standard shots are enough).

I'm so keen to photograph more shows and become more competent in this field.
