Acid Mothers Temple, Mono, 17.10.15
This gig was one of experimentation with shutter speeds. The first band themselves were an experimental act, while Acid Mothers Temple were psychedelic, and experimental in their own right. I wanted to show this through my photography and also create a feeling of movement and action, despite their being very little at times (this isn't a complaint, it just wasn't that kind of gig!).
The lesson learnt here, and one that I keep forgetting is that, if you can photograph for more than three songs, then do it. It's always during the last five to ten minutes that a band really go for it, and I missed a series of golden opportunities because I had already packed away my gear. I hope my anger in myself from this night will be a continuous reminder!
