Villagers 15.4.15

Last night was my first ever 'concert' gig to photograph. It was actually more daunting than I thought it would be, and I feel a bit like I learnt more in the small amount of time I photographed this gig over all the times I've photographed everywhere else.
Here I was more than aware that there were other photographers, and that they would be good. That's why I focused myself on more 'contemplation' shots than action shots.
For Luke Sital-Singh (who was incredible may I add) tried to capture those moments of contemplation when he stepped away from his emotional attacks at the microphone. Where as for Villagers I noticed those moments between songs where he seemed genuinely overwhelmed by the reaction he was getting from the audience.
I'm hoping that from this I can push on and photograph even bigger acts that are coming down and playing Cornwall.
