Rosie, 20.1.17
After braving the cold and doing the shoot both myself and Rosie were talking about how important it is when you're photographing to have the person you are photographing have confidence in you. We both have partners who don't like being photographed and that sort of feeling feeds into you when you're trying to photograph them.
It's often the case when shooting people you don't know that understandably they don't have confidence in you yet, especially if they haven't been in front of a camera before. However, it is worth noting that if a photographer has confidence in the person modelling, and in return they have confidence in the photographer, then that will free both parties up creatively to achieve whatever they wish.
