Trying to really embrace my black and white side for these. I’ve always struggled with black and white because I see other people shooting in it and theirs always look so good and it’s taken me so long to find the vibe that I want. Anyway, it looks like I’ve settled on something pretty contrasty.
With these shots I wanted a sense of abstraction, particularly with the flatter rock surfaces, so many of them have been flipped etc so at least to me, they look different to how I saw them.
I’ve found the hunt for textures really interesting so I hope that you do too.
