Some words about the shots…
When I’m planning any shoot, I send people a bunch of mood boards just to see what sticks. In the case of Zoom shots it’s been more an idea of what we can use for props more than anything. The majority of the time, people just choose flowers. I guess because they figure it’s the easiest thing to source. Anyway, to my surprise Aiysha picked fruit.
Aiysha is fun to work with in general, but I love that we managed to use fruit because it was such a fun prop idea to use with a person I already knew. It doesn’t matter what pose you’re doing, whether it’s meant to be serious or funny, it’s pretty much always going to feel daft because you’re basically just holding fruit.
Anyway, I really enjoyed this one, so huge thanks to Aiysha for putting up with my constant laughing and to whoever is reading this, I hope you enjoy these Zoom portraits.
