Hope, Portrait Photography via Zoom, 13.3.21

Where were these photographs taken?
These photographs were taken using Zoom and the power of the internet!

Some words about the shots…
This shoot was arranged a month or so back with the consensus that we were going to experiment as much as possible and also attempt to make Hope look as ugly as possible. I pushed on doing work with syrup as well as water, just to try it out. It’s pretty hard making photographs on Zoom when someone is far away from the camera so I went a step further with this and asked Hope to get as close to the camera as physically possible.

I hope that because of this we’ve created some strange, atmospheric portraits.

It’s definitely given me some ideas for when I do self portraits as well as face to face portraits. In terms of Zoom, moving on from an experimental perspective, I’d like to try and do some more things in edit such as liquify. It’s something I often forget so hopefully I remember one of these times.

I hope that you enjoy these Zoom portraits!
