Some words about the shots…
I’ve been talking with Karum from Hypophora about doing some new shots for them for awhile and we eventually made it happen (albeit slightly last minute!)

I’ve been toying with the phone idea for awhile so it was great to finally get that one down. It’s probably not as clinical as I’d liked and I really didn’t take into account how different everyone’s phone camera qualities would be but we live and learn and I still quite like it as an idea.

In terms of the rest of the shots, they came more naturally from scoping out locations and just seeing what would work and what wouldn’t. I’m very lucky working with Hypophora in many ways because we’re very much at the stage where they feel comfortable enough to suggest photo ideas as we’re shooting which led to some of the shots in this set, not to mention that they are pretty comfortable with trying things out and generally just being weird and arty.

Some words about the band…
Hypophora are a great alt-rock band who are definitely destined for bigger things (if there’s any justice in the world anyway!)
