These photographs were taken using Zoom and the power of the internet!

Some words about the shots…
During a shoot I always kind of gentle dip my toe in and ask if people wouldn’t mind if I experimented a little bit. I’m not entirely sure why I do this. Anyone who knows me, has worked with me before, or has seen my portfolio will see that I’m slightly experimental and that I do my hardest to not get into a rut and to try new things. I have faith in my ability to create interesting shots when I’m experimenting, so I shouldn’t be almost apologising or asking to be creative. It’s a creative field afterall.

We had a small amount of trouble on this shoot. The weather has been awful lately and I’m pretty sure it’s had an effect on my internet. Image quality wise, there wasn’t much difference. However, it did mean that just having a general conversation was difficult as there was a lag. So big apologies to Katie for that, but they were absolutely golden in dealing with it.

In terms of the shots, I’m just experimenting shooting through cookie jars, glasses, vases, and general dishes and just seeing what hits and what misses. It’s a strange journey but I hope you enjoy these Zoom shots at least!
