Charlies Bar 14.3.15

All week I have felt kind of lazy. Usually I shoot two to three gigs a week, alongside portrait shoots and street shoots. This week, I didn't have the energy to do so, probably due to mental health (I'm sure I'll write a blog on this at some point!).

Anyway, in order to appease the building guilt, I went to Charlies Bar down the road from me and took some shots Saturday night. I think Charlies Bar is the biggest challenge anyone can have in terms of photographing. Awful lighting (from being too dark, to disco lights - Yes, disco lights, I wish I was kidding), alongside an unpleasing backdrop, a smoke machine that doesn't make anything really atmospheric but ruins any idea you had of focusing, and to top that off, if there's even a small crowd, there's really very little chance you'll get anything of worth.

Anyway, here are some shots of Stumpgrinder and Hanterhir.
