Abigail Callaghan 26.5.15

I've got a big white board in my kitchen that tells me that every week I should do a portrait shoot, and also spend a day doing street photography. I'm probably at my most content when I have a camera wrapped around my neck and yet I have to admit, I haven't done enough portrait (or street) work this year. I guess this is a combination of doing so much live gig photography, as well as the difficulty of having sitters. It's something I want and need to work on if I'm to improve in those fields.
Anyway, this was Abigail's first time in front of a camera so as you can tell, she was a bit nervous (and I was a bit nervous in wanting to deliver her a nice laid back experience)! I really appreciate her putting aside her nerves and dedicating time for me and I'm incredibly proud of the first image in the slide show especially.
