Amber, Portrait Photography via Zoom, 19.11.20

Where were these photographs taken?
These photographs were taken using the power of the internet!

Some words about the shots…
This might be the fourth or maybe the fifth time that I’ve worked with Amber so we are pretty accustomed to each other and what to expect from a shoot.

Amber is the first person who I’ve worked with enough that this type of shoot just felt a lot more natural (or maybe I’m just getting used to Zoom shoots - probably that!)

In terms of the actual shots, Amber had a vase of flowers, and also, being an artist, Amber had a series of props we could use in that regard. Amber’s home was super well lit, so we just got infront of a plain white wall which happened to be by a white table (cue obscuring photographs using the table!) We kept it as simple as possible. I have a habit of making things more complicated than they probably need to be. I’ve been trying to keep a lid on that since the first lockdown, but especially so when shooting via Zoom.

Anyway, enjoyed this one, so I hope you enjoy the shots that came from it!
