I’ve been very lucky that the majority of work I had scheduled in for this month has been able to be moved or I’ve been allowed to use the internet, or shoot at home to achieve it.
I was supposed to be photographing Hannah-Joy in person today but with lockdown, no dice. So I once ahead braved the world of Zoom in order to get some shots. Alongside the limitation of trying to communicate with someone through a phone/computer, as well as them finding the frame/angle for me, there was the added limitation of them living in an attic flat (limitations can be interesting too!)
Just to make things even more difficult than they probably needed to be, I thought that it might be nice to experiment a little (Madness, I know right?!) So I tried some slow shutter speeds to see whether it would work. Weirdly it actually did. Although, obviously very hit and miss.
