Some words about the shots…
Emily and I have been plotting to shoot for awhile. We were hoping to shoot at 7am to capture the great morning light that happens at Emily’s flat but every time we were both free the weather would be rubbish. So we just shot in the evening and did what we could!
We mixed a series of ‘normal’ images and then some more abstract ones, and then some super ugly abstract ones. I’m definitely trying to push the boundaries of beauty. It’s interesting how we see each others looks and bodies and how we see our own, and how we want to portray our looks and bodies to others. Anyway, I’m going to explore than more, it just means that people are probably going to end up looking ‘ugly’ in my photographs.
