I’m not comfortable with shooting at night so this is something that I’ve been looking to do more of. Having said that, photographing four people in the dark probably isn’t the best way to approach something that you’re uncomfortable with so it was a bit of a trial by fire.
This was a last minute shoot, so on top of all of this there was very little work done in terms of planning and location scouting which I regret but sometimes there isn’t a lot that you can do.
Moving on I’m definitely going to try more solo portraits, utilising some of the constant and flash lighting that I have.
