Some words about the shots…
As a general rule, video calls are pretty awkward, at least to begin with. But when you immediately start talking about video games and then from there go on to a discussion about being weird so the photographs can be weird, then you’re on to a good one I think!
I experimented with a bunch of things that I haven’t used before, including some sensory toys (hence the weird coloured photographs in places). Every time I feel like maybe my creativity is spent whilst shooting virtually, I’ll figure something else to try out. It’s so nice to feel free enough to try these things out, and to also have people on the other end of the screen more than happy for them to be my guinea pig.
Anyway, these shots are a bit mad in places but I really hope you enjoy these Zoom portraits.
