These photographs were taken around Cornwall, with the occasional one taken in Plymouth and also London.

Some words about the shots…
For a long time I became too anxious to do street photography. I definitely tried, wandering around for hours, going to take shots but then not, and then beating myself up about not taking the shots.

That’s a huge reason as to why there’s been a change of editing style throughout this blog. The new style is heavily centred around Fred Herzog, but grainier and slightly more muted I think.

It’s taken me a long time to figure out what I can photograph in Cornwall. Cornwall is fundamentally isolated for maybe eight/nine months of the year and pretty dull, and then utter chaos for the rest. Capturing the mundane parts of the county and telling myself that there is a worth and purpose in that for me has been a struggle but I’m definitely pleased at the direction that my street work is heading and can’t wait to start doing more.
